Since setting up my own studio in 1998, I have been committed to drawing and painting full time. Exploring the potential of acrylics, watercolours and oils.
Although I initially studied graphic design and illustration, I have always loved drawing and painting.
The themes and preoccupation of my recent paintings have been a return to the basic language of Colour Field.
My current fascination is with immediacy versus the subtlety of colour, and it’s ability to express emotions and evoke response.
Healing, with colour for me has achieved balance, health and happiness.
